Music 3.0 with First Music Contact & Jim Carroll (1 Viewer)

Watching the participants – who really deserve all the credit for us because they took a flyer on something new and untested and turned up every evening for more – interact with oneanother, swap tales and work out kinks in ideas as the week went by was quite fascinating.

the thing about this sentence is that it was pre-requisite that you were able to show up for every day of it in the application process.

aye true enough, though i think it would pre-filter the applicants down to folks who would.

true enough

i'm kind of sorry i didn't apply now - sounds like it was pretty interesting.

Alas my crushing fear of rejection, my natural anti-social tendencies and my complete lack of free time, plus my innate uselessness, all worked against me.

Let me see, didn't this basically translate as "Hey you un-innovative music people, you have to pull up your socks! Let's put together some talks which have nothing at all to do with music and see what you can take from it"

It seemed like a love-in with Jim & his twitter mates.
