Never the most likeable individual, to put it mildly....but I like this one.

One more....I'm looking for MC Hammer's grunge band.

Now that would be good.

Anyway, anyone else remember this being on CH4 in the summer months in the early to mid 90s? It was like drugs in terms of a cartoon - and elusive, only on in the summer months, and I think just one summer. File next to the Back to the Future cartoon which was also only available in brief pockets of inappropriate time.. But even as a kid, I was a big sleeper and could only occasionally rouse myself to get up and watch it.

Also Prefuse, you're off your game.

This is the one that belongs in this thread. Great tune. Courtney was great. Good little actor too.

I was wondering what levolor was. Was it referring to some mysterious character from ancient history?
No. Levolor is an American manufacturer of custom window blinds and shades. She is literally singing about window blinds. And a bit of a nod to the pixies stormy weather. Cool song though.

Be my blind.
Be it all the time.
Be it night or day,
Take my sun away, away.

Levolor, which of us is blind?
Levolor, left me in the dark.
Levolor, I can't see a thing but you,
Is it morning?

The harmony vocals have me thinking of the re recorded version of one divine hammer by the breeders.

This kind of sugary grunge pop was perfected in the 90s.

Not sure if this belongs here or in the noise rock thread, but I think Butthole Surfers are too much like damaged hippies from some found footage horror movie to be considered proper noise rock.

I saw an Alice in Chains Jar of Flies t-shirt in George St arcade there. Nice tat but probably fades after a few washes.

I keep wrecking yer man's head about a Sepultura Roots t-shirt every time I pass the place.
