I nominate it because it's both completely phony but also about as real as everyone else back then, always trying to be one kneejerk reaction ahead. Nothing more classic punk rock to me than songs about scene politics! Oh, and great track as far as these things go.

Oh that's interesting, I really like it but I'm glad Kev quickly formed Dexys and not, like, some West Midlands version of Minor Threat. It's a shame they never properly made a full album though.Johnny Won't Get To Heaven is often cited as a proto hardcore song - great tune.
