Minor Pleasures (5 Viewers)

I've been watching a lot of stuff about black metal on YouTube.
Even when I was young I could never take it seriously. Some of the music is okay, but the vocals have always made me laugh. I like the story behind it, the imagery, creating its own universe, the Ott ridiculousness. Its.... interesting.

I feel the same way about so much hardcore / (scr)e(a)mo / metal etc

Tend to be really enjoying the guitars and then BAM!
vocals come in and ruin what was something promising

You can't say these lads don't make the effort.

Back on topic... I recently bought this cool cd called Unland Spidercult by Death Citadel, its great, I recommend it. I think it's black metal, I'm not too hot on ID-ing metal sub-genres.

The lyrics are incomprehensible but on the basis of the song titles I'd say they're incredible. It seems to be some horror adventure with spiders

Intro: Swamp of Horrorness
Holders Of The Ancient And Ensorcelled Daggers Of UN
Summoning The Great Forcible Eight-Eyed Arachnid Of The Order Araneae
An Enormous Spiderlike Creature Emerges From The Fog
Outro: MOON-OOZE

I saw these guys in Dublin, it was fantastic

I love this blasphemous shtick

The mad versions of songs with the most minor of differences that appear on over the top reissues.

Listening to the "USA AM Radio Version" of Itchycoo Park.

I hadn't realised the single version, the "(Mono Version)", contained a slightly trippier use of a flanger than the stereo version.

FASCINATING.

I know better than to try and convince you to like good songs.
