One of my outdoor motion sensor security lights is permanently on. It's driving me demented fiddling with the settings trying to get it working properly again

After losing my rag with one of these before I just relented and bought a new one to spare me continued annoyance.

An email from FedEx saying that something I bought..no idea what..has incurred an import charge of €35

get rid of that bloody thing.

They're awful yokes... I'd take a robbery over having to deal with light streaming into your room just as you were about to go to sleep.

the two screws on there are usually

time- how long it stays on
sensititivity - how close a life form expelling radiation has to be to it to set it off

if that helps.

Mine has the three knobs. In the end I fiddled with it to the point it now comes on for about 10seconds before shutting off. Not much use but I'm not spending any more energy on this.

I sprained my back this morning when I went to sit down on the toilet.

not a severe sprain but still an excuse to take it easy today.
hey - it's 16 months since I hurt my back so it was due

other daft things that have sprained my back over the years -
running upstairs, lifting a stool off a bar and tying my shoes.

Back pain is the worst.

Back pain is the worst.

I'm supposed do exercises every day but got a but lazy the last few weeks.
I'll be all right in a day or two. when this happens it's more about mobility than pain fortunately.

in my case the problem about looking after my back is always that if I am doing things properly I don't realise because I don't have problems ! so I can take things for granted.

also my knees are always stiff too and it makes it more awkward to try and save my back.
a lot of this is from lack of self care when I was younger
On the whole I am very lucky and can manage this - some people really suffer
