I've developed a new level of uptight control freakishness whereby I have a drawer filling up with stuff I already have but which I know will either run out/break/be lost by me and it will annoy me until I get a chance to buy the replacement if I don't already have. Like a doomsday hoarder of non-essential consumables.

Thanks It was enough to be annoyed over but not enough to spoil the nice night that I'd had. I went back to ask if anyone had found it but no luck. Choosing to be magnanimous, the young dude who was cleaning up who I'm assuming found it and pocketed it probably needs it more than I do.
