Hello,

I have a little vintage microphone (a Beyer M60) that I use for getting distorted vocal sounds.

It's only gone and broke on me.

Basically it has a skinny wire connected to it and the connection appears to be bust.

Does anyone know a place in Dublin that fixes stuff like this? City centre/northside preferably.

It probably just needs the case opened up and the connection soldered, but alas even this simple task would be beyond my powers of DIY (plus I don't own a soldering iron).

Many thanks.

I should be able to sort it for you. My workshop is in Portobello or you could drop it in to Some Neck guitars if that's handier.

Cheers Moose! Just saw your message now, I actually got it fixed in Pro Audio Repair in North Lotts, Dublin 1, based in Loop Studios. Run by a guy called Joey who is sound.
