Martin Daws, Gwyn Parry and Murmansk
Sept 10th: Dublin, The Boom Boom Room
The two Welsh Poets have asked semi-dormant DV project Murmansk to perform as guests at their Dublin date.
MDQ perform poetry, music, rap and hip-hop in a strong jazz/blues structure.
Martin's lyrics are complemented by guitar, cello, sax/trumpet and percussion.
Gwyn performs using backing tracks, films and harmonica. His poetry offers an appreciation of nature/the human condition, as well as a humorous look at contemporary life. The performances illustrate two very different approaches to the spoken word.
