This was great. I love seeing Glimmermen and if it takes asking them to play with us to see them, so be it. We were amazing, the lads played very well especially young @chris d of thumped.
The old midnight start was clearly too late for basically *anyone* we knew, so we got to play to a room of strangers. Which is what you strive for really.
I picked up a few more musical comparisons from people afterwards; The Undertones, Weezer, "punk rock". These, we can add to the list of other "you-sound-likes"; Pulp, The Cars, Cheap Trick and The Buzzcocks. Not the worst.
