Broke my foot yesterday. June in a boot.
My auld lad retired in April, has been loving putting his feet up since then. Left the house for the first time last week (apart from going for a short walk or cycle) and broke his kneecap coming out of a shop.Broke my foot yesterday. June in a boot.
WTAF how'd you manage that?'tis a bit
Ah shite. Sorry to hearBroke my foot yesterday. June in a boot.
Happened to me last year. Got a month off workThanks a lot there grate matez.
It happened just walking out the back door and rolled it on the step. I heard crackling noises! Immediately put it up with ice on it but it started to swell and get tight. About an hour later I asked to be brought to A&E. Eventually saw a doc who said it didn't look broken but will xray it anyway. Turns out it was broken. In a boot for June/July.
Could have been worse. I have had constant low level pain in that ankle for ages so I made sure the xrays took that in too.
my body does this in the most incredibly trivial ways. the right side of my body is healthier than the left for really trivial stuff.Basically my left foot always gets sore long before my right foot does.
Ouchhh. Hmmm I've had a funky ankle since I was a teenager, maybe I should get it looked at. Basically my left foot always gets sore long before my right foot does. Not to any inconvenient amount, but its kind of funny, like if I'm standing for a long period my left ankle will get achy and my right ankle won't. It's never caused me any real bother but it's kind of funny. I first starting relly noticing it when I was working in a supermarket, where I'd be standing at the till for hours at a time so ya know basically just standing in one spot the whole time. That's another thing, if I'm walking around and moving and changing positions often then it won't start aching at all, it just hates standing in one spot, ha. Maybe it's just like a natural kind of thing, just it's weird that my right ankle would never get as achy.
