She died as she lived, surrounded by the people she answered phones for.
Fun episode and some great moments. Joanie you dirty wench. I was enjoying her fending off Roger as well. The stuff with Peggy and the arty lefty bloke was very interesting and nicely subtle. I wonder if he rode to SCDP on a fixie.
A cracker this week. Incredibly tense from as soon as the agents turned up on Betty's doorstep. The set-up in the boardroom at the end with them all was brilliant. Bert's lack of testes was the least of the secrets they all had.
So it's pretty much certain SDCP is going to fold pretty soon yeah? Bert is about to retire/pass on pretty soon, Rodger has lost the only account he held (which was pointed out that he inherited, not earned) and Pete and Don won't be able to work together for much longer.
i thought it was so-so, if not a little boring.,. series 4 might have been a fridge too far as they are repeating the 'company is falling to shit and don is going nuts' theme that they used to end series three. they'd better kill about 4 lead characters next week or i'll have to consider starting to download something else.
What are the odds that Roger does something major to redeem himself over the next couple of episodes? With
Lucky Strike gone
he's useless to the agency but you couldn't see the show dropping one of its best characters.. I reckon he rediscovers his old touch and lands a big account or something. Great scene with him and Joan. I like how we're getting much more of Peggy and Pete in recent episodes.
