I cannot actually believe there is no thread on these guys.

Eccentric, distinctly British, ballsy 90s "post-rock" with the insatiable Luke Sutherland on vocals. I'd been listening to Bows' (Sutherland's post-Killie band) Blush, which is in its own right gorgeous, a little more trip-hop in its moves though.

Listening to Houdini now. Stunning stuff. Jimmybreeze from this parish played me them ages ago - only just got around to downloading the beauty now.

This track features that rascal Mark E. Smith and it is a right blast of skronk wooziness.

Yep, Sutherland wrote a novel too about a Scottish jazz band touring the Highlands called Jellyroll and I missed it the other day on bookmooch. I was truly sickened.

ah some great tunes there.
by coinkydink, i rooted out the butterbelly EP the other day, delicious yellow vinyl.

Very nice bunch o'Dudes.

Funny how beer kegs always work well in a musical setting?

Niall McGuirk will probably be along shortly extolling the virtues of their compadres Dawson- who were more rocky but still cool.

I prefered Dawson myself, but I have vague memories of seeing Long fin Killie and liking them. Never got any records though.
