[Musical Maximalism]
[High-energy mega electro rock]
[Collapsing synth supernovas and thunderous drum starfields]

2008, Le GALAXIE’s amazing first year took their Grids VS Guitars mania to London Calling, Bud Rising, support with The Presets, Fight Like Apes & The Whip, the Electric Arena at Electric Picnic and a hit singles, 'You Feel The Fire!' and ‘We Bleed The Blood Of Androids’ (available now on-line and in selected retail outlets.)

2009 saw the arrival of ‘Transworld EP’ in May, an appearance by invitation from ‘I’m from Barcelona’ to the Popadelica Festival in Sweden, countless Irish appearances including being only the second ever Irish band to headline the ‘Transmission’ club night in Dublin and the Castle Palooza & Indiependance festivals.

With joyous ceiling-lifting live shows, Le Galaxie are Michael Pope on guitar, vocoder and synths, Anthony Hyland on guitar, Alastair Higgins on drums and David McGloughlin on bass.

The Le GALAXIE mothership takes off on a full Irish tour this Autumn with FREE download only single ‘Victory’ available on 18th November.

''Meshing pounding techno rhythms, shimmering cyber-synths and cascading streams of sonic guitar-wizardry, sci-fi sampledelics Le Galaxie have wasted no time stamping their 'grid vs guitars' ethos on 2008...' Drop-D.ie

''Plenty to twitch and stomp your feet to here...out of this world...' THE SUN

‘The entire set was a mind-blowing, sample-tastic,synth-shimmering, teasingly-torrential guitar fuelled frenzy, which the crowd adored them for....' NIAMH DOLAN, HEINEKENMUSIC.IE

'[We Bleed The Blood Of Androids] is as fine an example as any of their spaced-out, sci-fi inspired sonic explorations...manages to retain and organic warmth that's rare to find in electronica...' HOTPRESS MAGAZINE

'[We Bleed The Blood Of Androids] from loudly heralded Dublin space rockers Le Galaxie…eerie synths creak and guitars swoon and sigh, a (possible insane) robot chirrups menacingly in the foreground- all to goosebump-inducing effect. Please buy this and make them famous...”

The Karman Line

Rising like a two headed pheonix from the ashes of various musical what ifs and maybes, the Karman Line have spent the last two years crafting their own unique brand of brain-blitzing mutant psychedelia, joining the dots between 4/4 sensibilities and skyscraper beats, experimentalist electronica and indie persuasions. Continuously working on new material and (still) meticulously assembling a debut ep, TKL have strived to please both dance floor junkies and melody hungry trendys at the same time without compromising what they believe in - progressive, aggressive music.
