Mine is one time I was with my band on a writing/rehearsal week in Easkey, one January. Got home drunk, suggested we all go swimming. No-one else wanted to go, so probably 4am, out of my mind, I went down to the shore, took my clothes off and walked out into the sea. The tide was way out from where it had been earlier (duh) and I tottered precariously for about half a mile on slippy rocks, and had a lovely swim. Came back, couldn't find my clothes, started to worry, then, inevitably, fell on my face, splitting several parts of it wide open. The pain was so bad I thought I would faint, then die on the rocks, or drown when the tide came back in. I spent another hour, buck naked, and freezing, looking for my clothes. Found clothes, came home. Washed, went to bed. Woke up stuck to the pillow with dried blood. Which was really great.

I had never heard of Gammon as a slag. I'm using it now.

Loved that. Saw Billy Bragg quote it yesterday. The responses (to the original tweet) are fantastic.

ahhhhhyeeeeehhhh

I just kinda see this as another indicator that the relatable left I used to lefty is more of a harbour for baying into the abyss and being selective about whats ethical based on the performative binary. This kind of shit gives the extreme right a platform.

Pass.
