Often is maybe a bit generous there. Don't recall ever seeing it at the top of any best ever lists.

Yeah, it’s a bootleg of various demo recordings. This is called Warsaw but I’ve seen the same songs/tracklisting under other names too. What's that one? Some kind kind of boot?
I bought it for the first time last week, I had never heard the full album, and I'm an oul lad like.I've never actually heard this album, but I know almost everything on it. Gonna listen now. brb
what do you make of the single version?
a bit beefier, a bit more industrial, still not exactly a "rock" sound though.
i think the music speaks for itself with out myth making or hero worship.
I think it’s a lot easier to separate the legend from the music for Unknown Pleasures but harder for Closer. Between the albums, he developed epilepsy, started on the medication, had his affair, etc. I can’t remember when his daughter was born but his biography and Closer pretty much go hand in hand. And it’s a much heavier album because of it. I’ve never been able to listen to that one unbiased.it's thumped, I was being flippant, and a prick, cos thumped is for pricks.
But the bit I've quoted there is the main thing I take from this thread. People arguing on the merits of the music, and the music alone, and I like that.
