amazing to read the vitriol towards benitez on the blogs. english football supporters are thick as pigshit. the guy is one of the smartest people working in football. chelski scum seem not to understand that the reason they hated benitez was that he put together a team that prevented them from winning the CL. twice.

Those things are hard to shift, I know of someone who's been a season ticket holder at Highbury and then the Emirates since the mid-80's who will always say that the club is bigger than any one player, manager or boardmember* but if Mourihno ever got the manager's job he'd stop going.

* Personally had Usmanov gotten control of the club it might have caused me to seriously reevaluate how I viewed it.

The father of Chelsea captain John Terry headbutted an Asian man during a racist attack in the street, a court heard today (tues).

Edward Terry, 59, allegedly assaulted Amarjit Talafair near Fenchurch Street station in London's Square Mile on the evening of 22 March this year.
