Good few Grade 7 jobs going in the Local Government Management Agency. I’m working there, it’s a grand place

what grade do you have to be to apply for that?

I think you can be pretty much any grade to apply for it. There’s a few jobs going, temporary and permanent. Once you have the right qualifications and decent enough experience you should be grand. We took on a grade 7 on our team that had been working as a grade 4 in another local authority.

Thanks, man
Appreciate that

I think anyone that's lost their job recently should be figuring out how to get into the service
Choppy waters ahead and all

Out of curiosity- have either of you ever known someone to get in to the Civil Service at grade 6/7 with no public sector experience?
Grade names are different in the civil service but I know of a few who’ve come in with no prior public/civil service work at all grades up to Assistant Principal and Principal Officer level.
