spent most of 2011 listening to know your station gouger nation. there are two reactions to this record i've experienced:

A: why doesnt everything in ireland sound like this.
B: why doesnt this sound like everything else.

anyways, i recommend it.

i had the ngggllbbthh opinion of jinx, but having seen him live and toured with bolley/aka duke special i can say its very. very different. i want to beat up simple kid sometime.
 
Kinda of in the Damien Dempsey camp for me. Not a fan of the songs but I do admire the fact that they have a certain uniqueness about what they do.

+1 for Jinx. His songs are funny.
 
I saw him supporting The Fall in Galway once, I enjoyed his set.
