Looks like he's walking to Sutton. Swimmers and a towel in the bag, maybe a few cans for later. You'd be melted too in this heat.

you could knock in and ask - they are still open.

those signs might be left over from the window display they had for the 100 year anniversary of the shop a while back.

totally old school set up in there. no 'walk around shop' innovations for Edges.

Reading this I've had a fresh look at this room, which I thought I'd tidied up the other day, but is still full of stuff. Stuff that no one knows what to do with.

I especially like the beureau (?) lamp, it's like them things what's in the fillums. Completely useless as a lamp though.
