Space/Shock with IN FLAGRANTI /(Brooklyn, New York)

Space Camp boldly goes where few have gone before... beaming over some of our personal
favourite producers that we feel are going to make a big impact; Claude VonStroke, Pilooksi
and Dirk from Eskimo, new acts to the general public, but its no exaggeration to say all three
provided among the freshest DJ sets we've ever heard at the Camp or elsewhere.
We continue in the same vein this Saturday night....
For all its delicious, hip-churning rhythms, the New York dance-rock pioneered by the likes of
DFA has largely felt a little asexual! That's not the case with these Brooklyn beatsmiths,
who trick out house beats into something funked up and lusty and Shock has teamed up with
Space Camp to bring them to Dublin!
They are New York's most exciting new exports; In Flagranti, who have been building a
name for themselves by releasing some amazing productions on NY’s Codek records and
organizing the famous Happy Ending parties in the Lower East Side on Tuesday nights.
They've been grouped in with Soulwax, Justice, Simian Mobile ect, but their obsession
with classic disco has seen them getting kudos from sample spotting soul boys too such as
their obsession with splicing together numerous influences.
In Flagranti's filthy funky filtered disco sound hits Rogue this Saturday night from 11pm.
Look out for some special decor & visuals as we do the place up a bit!
