the only reason I didn't upvote this for the club is that i listened to it about 5 times in a row when i was doing the car fixing dance recently on the back of you posting one of the other singles here a while back.
Gave it a listen on my walk at lunch. It didn't immediately grab me like the first one did.
What I loved about the Kill Yr Frenemies was the way that it fused clever production choices with old timey songwriting techniques and styles. This one, despite the presence of the be my baby beat on one song, felt like the fancy production came in when the songwriting lacked a bit of direction.
I liked the last one enough to come back to this again and give it a few more listens.
She's very talented though, believe she records/produces/mixes it all herself in addition to writing the tunes.
