Cheap food in London is fucking shit. The mid level / pricey stuff is amazing but cheap stuff is shockingly bad. I blame fried chicken places.

Was working in Finglas this week and found a great old style caff in the village. Had eggs, beans and chips and a great big mug of tea. Would love it again now.
