That's playlist.

Could segue into some Bruce there and entirely avoid Bon Jovi.

I knew it was a cover, but I didn't know there had been a few versions of it before the Natalie Imbruglia hit. First recorded by a Danish singer, but written by Ednaswap.

I could never take angst seriously from someone that attractive.

The picture of the Healy Raes eating ice cream cones had me thinking of that track by another level " let me lick you up and down....." it's actually a cover originally done by some chancers called Silk.
Horrendous, chringy, cheese bag, lover man, R&B shite.
Anyway, imagine this playing as the Healy Rae's tongue their 99s.

I didn't know that, though I always thought that song was cleverer then the band or their management. It had something else to it as a POP HIT of the era.

Anyway, imagine all the children conceived under false pretenses because of that cover.

What with poor Sarah from Girls Aloud passing I was going back and listening to all the pop music from that era, had no idea this Robyn song was actually a cover, the original is real advert music.

Anyone catch Robyn at Electric Picnic 2010? Up there with the best ever EP performances

I've never heard that song (or indeed anything by her before) but I would go the other way there, her version sounds completely like throwaway, "made to run in the background" music. The other one has some presence at least. Neither is to my taste anyway.

I wonder what will happen in the era of targeted ads - will "advert music" mean anything if all your ads sound like Prince and all mine sound like kangahammers?

I didn't know Racey did the original version of this in 1979. Written by the masters of 70's gibberish pop, Chinn & Chapman. It was a huge hit for Toni Basil in 1982 as Mickey.
