So, I may be homeless for a month and am looking for somewhere for the fam to stay between august 12 and sept 12 for the five of us. Life goes on so we need to be on the northside. Oh yeah, we will rent but it's hard to get short term rentals

Any suggestions??

I would suggest staying with family, but that could end in disaster.

You could talk to an owner of a hostel or b&b, you know the type of accommodation place that wouldn't normally be booked out for a month and haggle a flat rate.

I recently stayed a few week nights over in the west & sorted out a flat rate in a hostel with the owner. Because it was week nights I got it for fuck all. Had the place to myself. I'd say it was full of stag nights come the weekend.

hard to bring 5 of us into family who have their own thing going but we might end up doing that, it'd be good to have a base as the kids will be going to school etc - we may pitch a tent in a garden!!
