That spoken word video he had out years back was absolutely shockingly bad.

Only found out about this yesterday, not much advertising was done for it?

Getting my ticket tomorrow afternoon, hope to get a good seat. Then again, goin back to the advertising thing, I don't think there would be any chance it'll be close to being sold-out.

I wouldn't be so sure, it was pretty full last year.

Yeah seen him twice in vicar street and it was full on both occasions. I think generally he plays here once a year and the people who want to go keep an eye out for it, never really see too many ads.

He has gotten progressively worse over the years. although the last time i saw him was a little better that the time before.

I have tickets for this, but i'm not sure if i can muster the energy to go.

He was on the Tom Dunne show earlier on Newstalk. Seems we might hear a bit about his travels in africa. Tom Dunne was giving away tickets and he mentioned that traditionally the 3rd tuesday in January was the slowest day of the year for people going out. Rollins then gave a few hard plugs, telling people to come out, so that suggests it far from sold out, but from previous experience it's always been a busy gig.

Got my tickets, just there this afternoon. There's still a lot of choice seating available. No tables, but the blocks upstairs might be fairly empty.
