A friend of mine is trying to track down a single from July 1976, it was the first release by punk scene label Hairy Arse Records Dublin it was a double A side called "I have to play with myself (cos all my friends are gone away)/Jimmy Savile is me da" by punk act Jake & The Netherclifts. The catalogue number is HARD1. It was a 7 inch. Anyone come across it, have a copy they'd sell or know where one could be obtained?

Yeah, there is a Jake Netherclift who was making music around that time though... he might have names mixed up or confused.

I'm still suspicious

July '76 is a bit quick for a punk single to have been released in Dublin. Especially considering the Damned are considered to have released the first punk single in October '76.

(I've never heard of the band)
