right, i have a digitech fx board, and some scumbag broak into our bands rehearsal space and stole the power adopter. now i've since got another adopter( a general one, not a spesific one for the board) and while it switches on the board, it doesnt make a sound. i've tried it through two different amps. is the board broke, or does it just need a spesific adopter?

You might have to change the polarity or wattage on your other power thing.
Happened to me with some equipment from South Africa.You can generaly switch them around.If you cant a new one is about twenty five euro.
