Good Mix CDs (1 Viewer)

The Jeff Mills Liquid Room mix has been mentioned already on this thread but it's really a classic. It was largely responsible for getting me into techno. 430 West Present Detroit Calling is a cracking mix from one of the Octave One Brothers and was a seminal purchase for me. The follow up, Back to the Rhythm is good but not as good. Robert Hood's Caught in the Act is brilliant. I usually find techno that heavy difficult to listen to after a while but the mixing gives it a real sense of urgency and excitement. About half the tracks are Hood's own productions which are practically faultless.

I'll think of more later. Maybe even some from outside Detroit.

great cd. i'll concur with the surgeon, dj/rupture, coldcut 70 mins of madness and jeff mills liquid room recommendations too. dj assault's straight up detroit shit mixes are good fun too ... prepare to hear the words bitch and ho more times than you have in your whole life so far

pity there ain't a way to save tracklistings for mixes onto an mp3...

you can always store the tracklisting in the track properties under comment. it won't be visible in your player but at least it'll be attached to the file if you ever want to look it up...
