Nice & Nasty
One of the first record labels to emerge from Ireland as part of the acid house and rave scene. In 1992 alongside Mark Kavanagh;s Red Records, Dee Lynchs Blue; and Holmes & McReadys Sugar Sweet nice & nasty pioneered Irish club music as the group of DJs linked by Charlie Heggartys (Bangor), Circus Circus (Banbridge); and Thompsons Garage & Vicos (Belfast) decided to take things to a higher level. Since then the label has worked with Nipper AKA Kid Unknown (Warp recs), Matthew Bushwacka (the End), Dan Curtin (Metamorphic), Arne Weinberg (11th Hour), Fabrice Lig (F-COmm), Tomas Jirku (Canada), Nice Smooth (Canada), and as a promoter been partners wit Soma records (Glasgow), Marco Bernardi, Jim Hutchison, CJ Bolland, Nick Warren, Shades of Rhythm, Dream Frequency, Alex Gold, Billy Nasty, David Donohoe and Donnacha Costellos Minimise records, and Colin Dale.
