Was hoping it would work for bbc iplayer but doesn't. doesn't work for US netflix either (thought it wouldn't though). Luckily I tried the freebie version first. Ah well.

unfortunately they both proactively block known vpn services

you can find lists of open proxies online that work, but i'd be extremely cautious about routing anything private (like account logins) over them
