I LOVE 7. I'm not really a fan of the album it's from but that song is something of a half-forgotten classic. There's an acoustic remix version that came out as a b-side that's worth finding as well.

The lyrics are complete mystical nonsense though; it works on the same level as an Oasis song. Which is fine btw, Oasis are great.

Bump. Listening to her new album now, doesn't seem great but maybe it's a slow burner. I thought the first one was great initially but then totally lost interest and I liked the second one a lot. FYI.

She just makes me feel tired these days. That lead single off the last album was class but don't know if I even listened to the whole thing in the end. She's become so ensconced in the US fame machine that she may as well be Alisha Keys or John Legend these days, it's all just sounds like money.
