It's time for me to make my first drum buys. I got a DW5000 pedal for cheap the other day, and next on the list is some cymbals. Should have a couple of hundred to splash out when the dole comes through, but I have no idea what I'm after in terms of sound.
Whats my best course of action? Secondhand, or is that pointless? A beginners set like some Sabian B8s? Or am I as well off taking the angle grinder to someones old cracked stuff while I save for something more expensive?
