Been listening to them a lot recently

i reckon my favourite is "Songs of Faith and Devotion" which has now taken over from Violator as my previous favourite.

EDIT: Added a Poll. i left out Exciter, no way is that someones favourite.....

Violator with Music for the Masses a close second. Does 101 not count? That's the album that started it all for me.

Just realised that there's a track called "Big Muff" on Speak and Spell! Fnar fnar..........:)

a bit late with this but:

On January 15, 2009, the official Depeche Mode website announced that the new album would be called Sounds of the Universe.[49]. The album will be released internationally on April 20, 2009 and in the U.S. on April 21, 2009.[50]
"Wrong" is the first single from the album, released on April 6, 2009. The video is directed by Patrick Daughters.

As far as I know they are touring this album as well - "Tour of the Universe"

Has this leaked yet?

Violator.

I remember as a kid seeing them do master and servant and Blasphemous Rumours on top of the pops . Martin Gore seemed really weird to me. Must have been the S & M gear.

I remember seeing them on Jim'll Fix It!! I think they played Stripped!

Speaking of side projects - I saw Dave Gahan in Shepards Bush touring his 'solo' album. Bloody awwwwful stuff.

Music for the Masses does it for me - particularly for Behind the Wheel!
