no wonder he looks so miserable

darn someone said the one i was going to go for already. i would also go for the HENRY , PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER death were henry and otis go to buy a pawn shop tv attacking the owner with his drill and smashing the $ 50 tv they were trying to buy over his head to finish him off. the deaths in EVIL DEAD 1 and 2 are great too.

Other faves have been mention already.

Beheaded by glass in The Omen
Hanging in The Omen (This is for you Damien!)
Arms eaten by ribcage in The Thing
Cyrus getting popped in The Warriors
Willem DeFoe blasting his head off in Wild At Heart
Nightmare On Elm St 3 with the puppet with veins for strings.

Others include....

Your man getting torn in half in Day Of The Dead
The bit at the very end of My Little Eye
Cannibal Holocaust when your man gets his pecker cut off
Samuel L Jackson in Deep Blue Sea
Fella getting torn apart by the hooks in Hellraiser

Jeez sure there's loads of em!

apparently in House of Wax, Paris Hilton's character gets impaled (excuse the pun, but it's true) by this spike thing in her skull. i can imagine seeing The Paris die would be rather enjoyable.

Whoa, forgot about that one!!!!! It's fucking disgusting! Great film though

i know, i dont think "favourite" is the right word. its not enjoyable in any way, but its incredibly powerful and horrifying. an antedote to all those hollywood action films in which the "hero" kills legions of "bad guys" without any emotional impact.

this thread was interesting in that it just predated the rise of YouTube by months.
the first time I became aware of you tube was about December 2005.

anything with America's greatest actor Pam Grier.
especially in Coffy and Foxy Brown - she killed all those bastards with a lot of panache.
not out of revenge but because her life depended on it.
