Favourite biscuits (1 Viewer)

Explain the American savoury biscuit to us. The type you'd have with gravy.

What is the Irish equivalent?

I don't like Bourbons by the way. They're nasty

Wait, no. The yellow pack square ones.

Love those, unfortunately they didn't have any so settled for the purple.
Back when, the Centra up the road had no cameras on the biscuit aisle so we used to fill up on yellow snacks every week, Rocky bars too.

fox's crunch creams, hobnobs, chocolate hobnobs, digestives

i had these once and they were amazing even though i wouldn't usually be into excessively chocolatey things...at least i think it was these

Digestives here, nothing too fancy and, even though they're loaded with sugar, I don't feel so bad sitting down and munching on ten of them with a cuppa.
If I wanna live a little I'll go with Bourbons.
Nutella spread on digestives is kingly. A bit of real butter on a rich tea is great too. Bourbons just need a cup of tea with them.

Just had a purple Snack! biscuit bar, delicious.

Oh, there's a fucking dark horse if ever there was one

Wait, no. The yellow pack square ones.
All three varieties of Snack have their place in my life. Purple one is my favourite but golly I love them all.

Anyone seen speculoos around town? With it being the season.
No but I do have a jar of speculoos spread that I got in France. Hard to know what to do with it though. It doesn't work on other biscuits and doesn't work on bread/toast either. Too sweet for just eating with a spoon too.

Also, here's the obligatory "Jaffa Cakes aren't biscuits, they're cakes" post.

Big question is: do you like Jacobs Jaffa Cakes or the shitty McVities ones that always taste stale?
