The season finale was the best thing I saw all year. Sad, sweet, bonkers and utterly hilarious.

The last one sounds sounds exactly his fault.

More like the band didn't have a lot of room to add variety - bass, synth and drums, and the odd bit of guitar. Even the quiet bits were a bit loud. Your man writes good songs and is a good singer, like.

Gig: Radiohead - Reminded me why I loved them so much when I was 17.

Album - That Mount Eerie one which I only listened to once and I'm not sure I'll ever have the emotional energy to listen to again.

Film - I think the 2 I enjoyed most were Get Our and Mindhorn

TV show - The Football

Gig - St Vincent in the Olympia

Song - either "golden age" by the mynabirds or "it changes" by amber arcade

Album - maybe "let the dancers inherit the party" by British sea power

Film - ok, I've seen 19 released this year so I think "death of Stalin"

Films - Didn't see a whole lot - The Killing of a Sacred Deer and Mother were my picks of those I did see though

Favourite songs of the year - Glorious by Macklemore, Symphony by Clean Bandit.

Don't really listen to albums anymore. Only gigs I went to IIRC were at Body & Soul, think Sleaford Mods were my favourite

I started watching that on the plane the other day but I had to stop it. I didn't want to be that guy watching people naked in bed on the plane. I watched Cars 3 instead.

Wait? What? Now I want to see it, what's it about?

Gig of the year: Probably Melt Banana or Dillinger Escape Plan. I think I can say without hyperbole that they were the most I've had in a long time and reminded me of why I'm alive. Honourable mention for the Slackers in Belfast who also awesome.

Song: Bedtime by Gord Downie. Great song, makes my eyes go a bit sweaty when I listen to it.

TV: Really liked Mr Mercedes. Big Mouth was also a lot of fun.

Album: Probably the Converge one. Or maybe Microtonal Banana by King Gizzard. Have to say, nothing really blew me away this year as much as the Jeff Rosenstock album did last year or Mutoid Man did the year before.

Movie: Get Out. I thought IT was good fun too.
