That's a real pity, he was great for us when he was available and would be first choice in central midfield, the problem being that he never seemed to managed more than a couple of games in a row before the next 6 month injury layoff. You can't blame him really, considering that some of his recent major injuries came during Ireland duty. Hopefully the likes of McCarthy, Meyler, Gibson etc can prove themselves in that position over the course of the next 2 years.

Sharp as a hammer as usual Corm. That's a real shame about Reid, we never did get the best of him but you can understand his reasons. Considering Trap's well documented remarks last year he was never going to be a shoe in for the first team, so it's really as we were less one quality option if needed.
