Electric Picnic 2008 (1 Viewer)

I presume Foggy Notions have a stage again this year?

If so, expect lots and lots more quality acts added.

Really delighted about Low, but I'd be a tad worried that a quiet set from them might not work with all the noise from neighbouring tents/outside activity.

Low are all about face-melters, getting the Led out and unironic references to ZZ Top these days. Have you heard the Alan Sparhawk/Mark Kozelek collaboration yet?
it's like some chugging Christian stoner rock Behemoth. Jonah's whale if you will.

I've over-egged that one.

Dear Foggy,

I'd say the Bonnie Prince might show up at the Foggy stage.... and I'd be surprised if Portishead dont make it to the big top...

Cracking lineup if all the rumours materialise... there's plenty more rumours out there that aint been posted here.. but with a good few of the acts already having played the Picnic two years ago ya'd have to question the list....

Best to wait til 6pm to hear it officially before gettin' excited, me thinks!!

there was a rumour that paul simon would be playing. was hoping that would be true. not blown away by line up but between MBV, dirty three, SR and a few more i'll probably be forking out the sickening e240 to attend again.

I'd actually go if Elvis Costello was playing.
I was reading that he is supporting the Police on a North American tour, which is very worrying. I hope it doesn't extend to Europe.
I've never seen Elvis Costello although he's been my fave since I was about 17.
But I don't think I could go to a Police show.
