All y'all watching? Thought the final season went off the rails a little, but delighted with this final final season. Interesting comparison with Breaking Bad in the AV club this week, about how similar both shows are, featuring a protaganist you really ought to hate, but keep rooting for.

Anyways, thought it was particularly funny last night to see Kenny listening to Low.

Would to hear him talking about them.

+1 on recommending this, it's terrific.

Have very much enjoyed this season. Stevie's chin in the newest episode had me in stitches.

This is the greatest show of all time.
Having said that, it hasn't really gotten back to the consistency of seasons 1 & 2.
Season 3 definitely had it's moments mind you.

Right then, after a terrific final season the actual last episode....

sucked!

It was lightly peppered with some great bits, like the montage and the actor playing Stevie in the movie of Kenny's life, but apart from that it was too light on laughs. The Sacha Baron Cohen character was just dumb, and having to get to know him took us away from spending our last few minutes with the characters we were saying goodbye to.

In terms of the actual plot, thought the ending was just too trite and cosy, sort of thing most normal shows do. Eastbound and Down was never normal. Might have worked if they hadn't revealed the montage as a fantasy.

At the least the rest of the season was great, but I was really hoping for more of a bang...

Agree with most of that. Could play devil's advocate and say they were trying to demonstrate Kenny's maturity, in montage, but it still was pretty lame.
