yeah a big block of Irish ash I got off a friend.

the smaller ones are made out of a large 25mm thick plank of salvaged teak, with a piece of birch board at the end.

You should try your hand at something llike this



My son would love that... next project on my mind is a solid body electric bouzouki.

@magicbastarder I let the first one go for 50, as I really just made it as a project and had no idea there would be a demand.

I'd probably ask for a bit more for the ash one - as its pretty amazing looking piece of wood, and about that for the teak ones

how thick are those pieces of wood? i can check if i've anything suitable in case you want to make more.
i might have a couple of pieces here which might just be workable, around the right size i think, would probably plane to 30mm, or 25mm for the thinner bits. cherry, what i think is maple, and probably a couple more.
