Its finally here! The last New Natives of 2013, so we are making sure to end the year with a bang!

This is surely the biggest showcase since its inception, and New Natives are proud to welcome the awesome Meltybrains?!!!!!

"The live sensation. The exciting nonconformists. The absolute mentalists. Meltybrains? are fast becoming one of the most dearly-loved bands on the Irish music scene and listening to their tracks, it’s easy to hear why." - Harmless Noise

"While there are many acts who would lay claim to the experimental tag, Meltybrains? are one of the few who genuinely fall into that category. Firmly planted in the extraordinary and the bizarre, they manage to infuse their array of influences (dub, hip-hop, post-rock) with a sense of melody that keeps them on the right side of noise for noise’s sake." - State Magazine

"A Meltybrains? show is like the most beautiful woman you have met in your entire life taking a shit on your face" - Kyle Fox (Meltybrains? Fan)

"The definiton of up and coming music in Ireland" - The Odessa Club

"They have a female vocalist capable of giving Niamh from Ham Sandwich a run for her money. The Yips are definitely one to keep an eye on" - Goldenplec.com

The Yips formed after meeting at the new music college BIMM Dublin. Shortly after forming, they won 98fm's Brand New Act 2012 competition and supported Paddy Casey & This Club for their first gig.

Driven by this early success, the band have worked constantly on writing and improving their live performance over the past year - gigging all over Dublin, supporting Ham Sandwich at their sold out Academy gig last December and securing slots at Knockanstockan, Life, Castlepalooza and Electric Picnic festivals. The band have gone from strength to strength with The O'Brien's film featuring their song "Where The Wind Blows" alongside Roisin Ó and Paddy Casey.

The Yips will be releasing their debut single very soon
