Electronic pioneers Autechre make a rare live appearance on Friday December 19, when they play their biggest Irish headliner to date with a special xmas show in District 8 (formerly The Tivoli).

Very special guest is Gescom member and Skam records main man Rob Hall. We're bringing in a whole new PA for extra bass. It's going to be an incredible party!

I'll have to have a couple of coffees before it. Hard to beat that Sunn O))) gig in Whelans ten years ago where they went on around 3 pm. Got home in time for dinner, wonderfully civilised!
