GORBACHOV's brand of rabble rousing, energising disco-rock has seeped into the Irish consciousness in 2008, with a legendary live show that makes many an established act look stale and stagnant... In 2008 alone they have been selected for the IMRO Showcase tour, won the lot at Murphy's Live, blown the (bloody) doors off Dorans at HWCH in September, played festivals a-plenty (opening for Fatboy Slim in Latvia!), release their debut album and generally made a fan for life in anybody who's witnessed their manic performances.
