Excellent, I'm on the look out for good classical music but I don't know where to start. Theres a piece called Louange à l'Immortalité de Jésus by Messiaen from Quatuor pour la fin du temps which is beautiful, a slow piano and violin thing. I'd post a clip but i cant check here if it's a good rendition. Apparently Quatuor pour la fin du temps was first performed in a prisoner of war camp in 1940 where Messiaen was a prisoner. That bit of history gives the whole thing a bit more welly I reckon.
Glenn Gould is a demon on the old Joanna, especially playing Bach. I read he used to change the action on the piano to make it more staccato. Also recording him was supposed to be a nightmare cos he insisted on humming the whole time.
