Davis is still the most annoying asshole possible though. Thought the scene with the younger Lambreaux and the NYC jazz assholes was good.

Yeah that was a great scene....For some reason I'm the only person in the world who isn't annoyed by Davis.

Not a bad start - I hope the cop doesn't become a regular character though..

He is, because the series is going that way, with the rise in crime in New Orleans.

I like Davis, he is funny.

Just watched the first episode of the 2nd season there. I thought it was very strong. I haven't seen all of S1 though yet. Have the Sky+ lined up to record the series.

They haven't announced when they'll be showing it as far as I know. I yoinked it off http://www.tv-links.eu/ but I'll probably watch it on Sky too when it's on there. It's one of those shows I find is more rewarding on second viewing.
