In what way would the market not simply adjust to a universal basic income? I'm still convinced that universal basic services (somewhere to live/ healthcare/childcare/ 3rd level education maybe?) is a better option, if only because it's more tangible and less made of this fake money stuff. We could start a new thread but we'd probably just agree about 3 posts in.

I wash my hands a lot in work and get horribly cracked skin on my knuckles every winter because of it. Now my knuckles are just weeping blood most of the time. I’ve gone from hand cream to also using steroid cream.
