i was with a group of friends last weekend, 50% of us liked community (and there were more than 2 people there ).

it's just a better ratio than usual.

The only laugh raised in that first episode was the dean's mentioning of there being no subtext in his bringing over the Friends With Benefits dvd at the very end, the rest of the episode was piss poor !!

Yeah a complete mess of an episode - hopefully it gets better.

So, awful 4th season?
A few episodes that were "fine", a few laughs here and there, someone forgot to write any jokes for episode 7, but mainly the joy is gone.
I don't hate it, but there's not a lot there for me anymore. At least if they'd canceled after season 3 we'd get to have had the wonderful bittersweet "if only they'd gotten 6 seasons and a movie!" feeling.....

Honestly I don't think that it's got any worse this season, if only because I thought last year's one was pretty terrible as they seemed far more concerned with being clever than funny.

New season started last night, I believe the old show runner is back and it was quite good. They remembered they need jokes.

season 6 starts on sony tv here tomorrow (channel 157 on sky) at 10pm with a double episode

i think it is available in the us now on yahoo screen
