I really like them too, the whole package is just so well done - how they look, how their releases look, how they present their live show. Plus they're tuney, funny and generally very entertaining. i like the chalets's music (i know i've said that a million times before buh, i genuinely do, i'm not just saying it to go against the grain).. and the dressing thing- well.. whatever floats your boat. but fair play to them, what they're doing isn't what i'd want to do in a band (the whole 'making it' thing), but they're doing what they want to do and they seem to put in a hell of a lot of work, so, y'know, good luck to them. that video just made me make a mental note never to do a gig in clothes i'm not comfortable in though.. yr one on the right looks so apprehensive about the strapless buzz.. constantly adjusting your clothes takes something away from the whole 'i'm so cool, me' thing.

i think the chalets are deadly..and we've had this argument before..i like the fact that they put the effort in with what they wear..i like their tunes..and i know ive said this before but when x girl played here everyone was fuckin creamin themselves over them cos they were so fuckin esoteric and thinking outside the box and squaring the circle or whatever..but just cos they're from here and then ,horror of horrors, decided to make some money outta bein in a band people are hatin on them..honestly when pee-pee used to post here how many people told her they thought her band were shit?
