I've said it for years, noticed it around Yes Equality and the Marches For Choice first, that (cishet) men who bang on a lot about abortion rights, rape culture and sex work always seem a bit suss.

I know allies exist and I consider myself one insofar as I can be one but there are people who behind the scenes have been serial abusers and front and centred themselves in these movements, presumably as a gambit to access (young) women.

Back Porch Video was an 80's public access TV show in Detroit debuting in 1984.

the project was created by Russ Gibb (1931-2019) who had earlier owned the
Grande Ballroom where Kick Out The Jams was recorded.
kids from Dearborn High School presented, filmed and produced the show.
(Gibb was their film class teacher)
the kids shot some important footage of Touch and Go bands,
plus the likes of AGNOSTIC FRONT, MISFITS, CIRCLE JERKS etc.

the young guy doesn't know much about FLAG and is surprised they aren't a
hardcore band anymore. rather than ending the interview amicably
Henry Rollins bullies the guy as Greg and Kira split and a roadie watches on
thinking it's funny.

That video's a horrible watch. I did see a video in the last year or 2 where Henry actually apologised to that kid, so that's something.
