Caudal is a new trio featuring Aidan Baker (CA – Nadja, Whisper Room, ARC) on guitar, Gareth Sweeney (IE – Gout) on bass, and Felipe Salazar (CO – Muerte En Pereira) on drums. Baker’s multi-layered, heavily affected guitar overlays Sweeney and Salazar’s driving, propulsive rhythm section creating music equally influenced by krautrock, post-punk, and spacerock.

This is what happens when you put a load of Galway lads together that love Black sabbat, Thin Lizzy and drinking stout. This will see the bands 1st appearence in Galway since te release of their Blind summit recordings EP last year and possibly their only Galway gig for the year.They should be in great form since they will be supporting the mighty Mastodon the 2 nights before.

OLD BEAN (GALWAY)

Galway's newest band in the punk scene. Features members from bands Stick Around and Beans On Toast. The direction of this band seems to be more focused on the melodic side as oppossed to their previous bands. Early reports suggest the band takes influence from bands such as Gaslight Anthem and Hot Water Music.
